Photography has, and always will be my passion. Ever since 2014 when I picked up my first professional camera, I have been entranced by the art of photography.

At Ohio University, I dove head-first into the comprehensive commercial photography program. My commitment extended to proactively engaging with a multitude of photography-related opportunities, experiences, and networks, both within and beyond the academic confines. I am heavily involved in the Student Alumni Board, Thread Magazine, Variant Magazine and the Ohio University Multimedia Society.

Last summer, I worked at GNC in Pittsburgh, PA as a photography studio intern, working full time in assisting, shooting, gathering props and helping out with digital tech with the Producer, Studio Manager, Photographer and Senior Manager of Photography and Licensing. My collaborative experience with the creative team, in conceptualizing and executing photoshoots and designs, was particularly enjoyable and instructive.

A seminal milestone in my photography career transpired during the summer of 2023 when I secured an internship with the acclaimed BurkleHagen photography studio in Cleveland, Ohio. Under the mentorship of industry luminaries, Andrew Burkle and David Hagen, I had the privilege of amassing invaluable knowledge and insights into the realm of commercial food photography. My duties during the internship included providing assistance and digital technology support during photoshoots for clients such as DiGiorno, Nestle, Popeyes, Heinen’s, and numerous others. Additionally, during periods when I was not engaged on set assisting photographers, I collaborated with a food stylist to meticulously craft our own portfolio of food photography.

Upon graduation in May of 2024, I will be returning to BurkleHagen as a photography assistant!
